Twin Groves Middle School has the honor of establishing a chapter
of the Sociedad Hispánica de Amistad (Hispanic Society of Friendship). Our chapter is known as the Don Quijote Chapter. The
purpose of this Society is to promote cross-cultural acceptance and understanding in students, and to encourage service to
school and community. Any students of Spanish are invited to join this new society for Middle School Students of Spanish.

 Qualifications for Regular Student Membership:
Any student who is enrolled in Spanish is eligible for membership.
Regular Members participate in projects in the areas of ambassadorship, service to school, and service to community. The members
will choose the projects. You will be given the opportunity to offer suggestions to help tailor the projects to suit our members
and school. We will also contact other chapters and participate in projects that will link us together. You will have fun
while building interest and helping others.

 Qualifications for Honor Student Membership:
 Honor Memberships are
available to students who have completed a minimum of one full year of Spanish study, have maintained an honor average in
Spanish, and have completed projects in the categories of ambassadorship, service to school, and service to community.

 A
special Candlelight Ceremony is held for the induction of both new Regular Members, and Honor Members. (When you enter
